Is this a good sign that Ex-Israeli generals denounce checkpoints?

i lived this hell on checkpoints for 3 years,whn i used to go to college,it has to do nothiing with security that checkpoint was between tow palestinian cities and on palestinian road,it wasnt neccessary at all,we ped hours and hours under sun heat and cold weather in the middle of no where,it made our life impossible,the pressure and the stress oh my god,its over now in gaza but in the west bank its another story.if there is no settlement it would be inneccessary to have check point,they steal our land and put checkpoints to make life harder,how injustie is it??all checkpoint are made for settlements security,so take em off our land and put them on urs ,the problem solved,but no its not in their plan,as clear as it is.
