Does anyone have answers?? Im kinda scared?

my stepmom had a stroke about 7 years ago. she had an aphasia. her right side of the body is paralyzed. just a week or two ago she was having excruciating pain on the right side because like the nerves were regenerating or something. but its been severely affecting her mood. since the stroke shes been a little controlling, power hungry, short tempered, etc. but just since the nerve thing its gotten ten times worse! she liked sreamed at me and her judgements impaired too because she starts screaming over a simple thing and then starts sobbing because she thinks she not being treated right (even though we dont do anything) then goes right back to screaming at ppl. whats going on? does the nerve regeneration have anything to do with it? answers would be REALLY appreciated!!
