How do i become less goofy?

ok im a 12 yr old going on 13 and u kno im like a total girl and all but some times i say stuff tht makes me look kinda stupid and ill also be really goofy at time im not like ugly but ill look back and be like awww why did i do tht! so how do i stop being goofy if im really impulsive
