Want to buy a plow.?

I am thinking about buying a plow for the upcoming winter, this is the hard part. I have a 05 Honda rancher with a winch, should i buy a plow for that? is there clearance problems with the mount? or should i look for a used plow for my 4x4 F150? Which would be the better choice?
