Most likley flu but everything I eat and drink comes flying up...why?

I have a really bad sore throat body aches that won't go away which makes me uncomfrtable when I rest. I've been taking dayquil and nightquil but everytime I take it I throw up same with water and goinger ale. Do u think in pill form when I take the meds and I throw up ten minutes later is it still in my body??? :( help
