Is there an advantage to asking the exact same question on yahoo answers within "days" of each other?

I'm fairly new to yahoo answers so forgive me if I seem "naive' but I have noticed lately that there are questions being posted that the same person just posted days or weeks ago. It's like they've cut and pasted the same question. Other than hoping to get more responses, Why? (or did I just answer my own question) I know you can extend the time for answers so what's the purpose in having the same question open in conjunction with each other?
