Recovering photos question! :"(?

I tried Recuva and it was able to put formerly deleted images into the folder I specified, but there were no previews for them, just this cartoon of a landscape(if you're using Windows, you might be familiar with it) and when I double-clicked it, no photo appeared, and I also tried uploading it(just to be sure it worked), but it wasn't able to. :( What do I do? They're now back in a folder but they're as good as deleted files again.

Anyone living in the South Devon area?

What Is The Best Way To "Bond" With Your Cat?

I have a cat abd I notice if I leave, even for a short term of time, she has this real need to "rebond" with me. I was wondering how feral cats in feral cat colonies bond with each other ..Can we, as owners, learn from that? I allready give her the "head bump" greeting and rub her with my face. Is there anything else I can do to help us bond together
